Authorization to submit application requesting funds in the amount of $130,000.00 to the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet under the Law Enforcement Service Fee Grant Program and accept award if offered for operation of a Traffic Alcohol for Fiscal Year 2017. If approved, these funds will be used to support costs of approximately 3,500 Police officer overtime hours for a Traffic Alcohol Patrol. If awarded, the cost in Fiscal Year 2017 will be $130,000.00 for overtime expenses. No local match required. Costs in future Budget years are dependent upon availability of grant funds.
