A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute and submit a Grant Application to the Ky. Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to accept this Grant if the application is approved, which Grant funds are in the amount of $130,000 Commonwealth of Ky. Funds from the Law Enforcement Service Fee Grant Program, for the support of the cost of police overtime hours for a Traffic Alcohol Patrol, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds, and authorizing the Mayor to transfer unencumbered funds within the Grant budget. Summary
Authorization to submit application requesting funds in the amount of $130,000.00 to the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet under the Law Enforcement Service Fee Grant Program and accept award if offered for operation of a Traffic Alcohol for Fiscal Year 2017. If approved, these funds will be used to support costs of approximately 3,500 Police officer overtime hours for a Traffic Alcohol Patrol.
