BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which Grant funds are in the amount of $884,579.93 in Federal funds, under the State Homeland Security Program for FY 2022, for the Division of Police, in order to upgrade a remote firing device and explosive response robot and purchase a thermal or color camera and searchlight equipment, and also purchase any associated equipment, installation, and maintenance.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
