Summary
Authorization to abolish twenty (20) classified positions of Heavy Equipment Technician (Grade 516N), create twenty (20) classified positions of Heavy Equipment Technician (Grade 518N) and reallocate the incumbents in the Division of Facilities & Fleet Management. This action is also requesting authorization to abolish three (3) classified positions of Heavy Equipment Technician (Grade 516N), create three (3) classified positions of Heavy Equipment Technician (Grade 518N) and reallocate the incumbents in the Division of Fire & Emergency Services. Additionally, in an accordance with Section 21-27 (e) of the Code of Ordinances, we are requesting a 5% supplement for those employees in the Division of Facilities and Fleet Management (Fleet Operations) who earn and maintain a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Inspector certification, effective the beginning of next pay period following passage of Council.
