Summary
Authorization to accept Excellance, Inc. as the sole source provider for remounting Excellance Emergency Care Units. We are requesting Excellance, Inc. to be the sole source provider because they are the original manufacturer of the units and are the only Co. that can and will renew the structural warranties after the Emergency Care (EC) Units have been remounted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Excellance, Inc., be and hereby is established as a sole source provider for remounting Excellance Emergency Care Units, for the Division of Fire, and authorizing the Mayor or designee, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, to execute any necessary Agreements with Excellance, Inc., related to the procurement of these goods and services.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $200,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Excellance, Inc., from account # 2609 - 505702 - 5713 - 96957 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
