Summary
Authorization to accept the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Jessamine County Sheriff, for the Lexington Police Department and Jessamine County Sheriff in the performance of their duties under an interlocal Agreement, while outside their own jurisdiction, full power of arrest and all powers they possess in their own jurisdiction, and shall have the same immunities and privileges as if the duties were performed in their own jurisdiction. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Jessamine County Sheriff, for interlocal cooperation.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
