A Resolution pursuant to KRS 65.028(10) rejecting all proposals submitted in response to Request for Proposal #48-2023 Downtown City Hall Development and cancelling all remaining activity related to the RFP. [Council Office, Hall]

WHEREAS, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government previously issued Request for Proposal #48-2023 Downtown City Hall Development pursuant to KRS 65.028 (P3 statute), has performed its due diligence related to reviewing responses and determined that none of the responses are feasible to move forward to formal negotiations; and
WHEREAS, KRS 65.028(10) requires a determination in writing that rejecting all proposals or cancelling a request for proposal is in the best interest of the government and approved by the legislative body;
WHEREAS, the selection committee and Mayor have determined in writing that it is in the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to reject all of the proposals related to RFP #48-2023 and cancel all remaining activity related to the RFP, and
WHEREAS, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council accepts this determination.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That pursuant to KRS 65.028(10), the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has determined that it is in its best interest to reject all proposals submitted in response to Request for Proposal #48-2023 Downtown City Hall Development and cancel all remaining activity related to the RFP.
Section 2 - That the selection committee be and hereby is authorized to perform any and all actions consistent with this Resolution to implement this decision.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
