Summary
Authorization to execute an Engineering Service Agreement with Strand Associates in the amount of $541,401 for design of the Alumni Drive Shared Use Path Project. Authorization shall be contingent upon a concurrent request for approval to execute Supplemental Agreement No.1 with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) to accept federal Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds for the design phase of the Alumni Drive Shared Use Path Project. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Engineering Services Agreement (awarded pursuant to RFP 2-2023), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Strand Associates, for the design of the Alumni Drive Shared Use Path Project, for the Division of Engineering.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $541,401.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Strand Associates, from account # 3160-303202-91715, pursuant to the terms of the Engineering Services Agreeme...
