Title
An Ordinance amending Article XLIII of Chapter 2 and Section 2-457 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Code of Ordinances to change the name of the Commission provided therein to the Access Lexington Commission; amending Section 2-458 of the code to increase the membership of the commission to nineteen (19) members by adding a member representing a public transportation agency and the director of Building Inspection, or their designee, and otherwise designating certain employees of Officers of the Urban County Government as ex officio members; amending Section 2-459 of the Code to account for ex officio members in addition to Councilmembers; and amending Section 2-463 to utilize more inclusive language; all effective upon passage of Council. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the title to Article XLIII of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
ARTICLE XLIII. ACCESS LEXINGTON COMMISSION
Section 2 - That Section 2-457 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-457. Created.
A commission is hereby created which shall be known as the "Access Lexington Commission".
