BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Urban County Government hereby authorizes the Mayor to accept settlement funds in the amount of $2,891,826.38 ("Funds"), reflecting total disbursements from Johnson & Johnson and the first disbursement from McKesson, AmerisourceBergen and Cardinal Health, pursuant to the One Kentucky Opioid Settlement Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, related to multi-district opioid litigation.
Section 2 -That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, is hereby authorized to execute any necessary documents related to the acceptance of these Funds.
Section 3 -- That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
