BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a federal award in the amount of $616,704.00, from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from the Congressional Directive Spending Projects under the Consolidated Appropriation Act, 2022 for the Barrier Free Re-Entry and Recovery Initiative (BFREE), the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 97-21, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the grant budget previously established for this grant.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
