BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Purchase of Service Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties, Inc., to serve as the fiscal agent for the ONE Lexington Gun Violence Prevention Grant Programming for FY2023, at a total cost not to exceed $137,000.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $137,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties, Inc., from account #1101-133006-71299 [1) Violence Prevention/Intervention Community Partner Grants ($50,000.00); 2) Youth Mediation and Street Outreach Worker Stipends ($37,000.00); 3) Community Sponsorship Awards ($34,000.00); and 4) Fiscal Agent Administrative Fee ($16,000.00)], pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
