Title

An Ordinance amending the authorized strength by transferring one (1) Classified Civil Service Position of GIS Developer, Grade 522E, and three (3) Classified Civil Service Positions of GIS Analyst, Grade 516N, along with the incumbents in the positions, from the Div. of Computer Services to the Div. of Enterprise Solutions, all effective upon passage of Council. [Div. of Human Resources, Walters]

Summary

Authorization to transfer three (3) classified positions of GIS Analyst (Grade 516N), one (1) classified position of GIS Developer (Grade 522E) and all incumbents, from the Division of Computer Services to the Division of Enterprise Solutions. The div.s have requested this restructure in order to create a proper reporting structure for the positions within the Division of Enterprise Solutions. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN

COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the following subsection line numbers in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby are deleted: 

                     250.032                     1                     429                     522E                                          GIS Developer

 

                     250.046                     3                     428                     516N                                          GIS Analyst

                     

                     Section 2 - That the following subsection line numbers in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby are created:

                     085.053                     1                     429                     522E                                          GIS Developer

                     085.060                     3                     428                     516N                                          GIS Analyst

                     Section 3 - That the incumbent to the position of GIS Developer, Dustin Baker, be and hereby is transferred from the Division of Computer Services to the Division of Enterprise Solutions, at his current pay grade and rate of pay.

                     Section 4 - That the three (3) incumbents to the position of GIS Analyst, Lauren Weaver, Peter Bourne, and Michael Smith, be and hereby are transferred from the Division of Computer Services to the Division of Enterprise Solutions, at their respective current pay grades and rates of pay.

                     Section 5 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage of Council.
