Summary
Authorization to execute the first amendment to the Stormwater Collateral Development Contract with Mackey Group, LLC d/b/a Wiser Strategies, increasing the Contract amount by $10,000 for the development of advertisements to promote the leaf collection program. The messaging will focus more on the weekly use of and collection of carts and bags, since the vacuum collection portion is going to extend over a longer period of time. Funds are Budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute a first addendum to the agreement with Mackey Group, LLC d/b/a Wiser Strategies, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for creative design services for public outreach and media campaigns for the Division of Environmental Services, expanding the scope of the agreement to provide for additional services for public outreach related to the vacuum leaf collection program, and increasing the contract price by the sum of $10,000.00, from $50,000.00 to $60,000.00.
Section 2 - That an additional amount, not to exceed the sum of $10,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Mackey Group, LLC d/b/a Wiser Strategies, from account # 1115-313201-3095-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Amended Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
