Summary
Authorization to establish sole source status for Harrell's, LLC to provide all POLYON(r) branded fertilizer products for use on the golf courses. Any fertilizer products containing POLYON(r) purchased in the United States including all nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and minor elements which have been coated with POLYON(r), must be purchased from Harrell's, LLC or its authorized distributor. Harrell's is also a sole custom formulator and authorized agent to sparge Barricade 0.38% on fertilizer for the state of Kentucky. These products are necessary to maintain the golf courses' turf. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Harrell's, LLC, be and hereby is established as a soul source provider for POLYON branded fertilizer products for the Division of Parks and Recreation, and authorizing the Mayor or her designee, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, to execute any necessary Agreements with Harrell's, LLC related to procurement of these goods.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
