Summary
Authorization to enter into the Flock Safety Pilot Program with Axon Enterprise, Inc. and Flock Safety Group Inc. Axon Enterprise Inc. and Flock Group Inc., have partnered to conduct a nationwide study on the impact of license plate readers on crime with the National Police Foundation. In return for participating in this study Axon is willing to pay for the entire cost of installing and maintaining 25 of their camera systems and providing us access to the data.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Axon Enterprise Inc. and Flock Safety Group Inc., for installation of camera systems.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
