BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to accept this Grant if awarded, which Grant funds are in the amount of $80,000.00 in Federal funds under the 2021 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program and are for the purchase of two (2) passenger vans for the Community Paramedicine Program, the acceptance of which will obligate the Urban County Government to the expenditure of $8,000.00 as a local match.

                     Section 2 -- That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 97-21, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget established herein.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.

                     PASSED URBAN COUNTY COUNCIL:
