BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to allocate up to $375,000.00 in Federal funds awarded under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for the purpose of providing up to $5,000.00 of premium pay to each eligible Sheriff’s Office employee, and authorizing the Mayor to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, as well as any other necessary documents, with the Sheriff’s Office related to the use of these funds.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
