BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to apply for a Broadband Deployment Grant through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and in partnership with Spectrum Mid-America, LLC, for the provision of broadband to approximately 250 households in Fayette County.
Section 2 - That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute any documents related to this project.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed $10,000.00, is hereby approved for payment to the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and/or Spectrum Mid-America, LLC, from account # 3230-210101-0001-71299, pursuant to the terms of any agreement and contingent upon the approval of a pending budget amendment.
Section 4 -- That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
