BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Urban County Government hereby ratifies the Mayor’s prior execution of an Agreement with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the acceptance of an award of $4,865,246.00 in Federal funds under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, in order to provide housing and supporting services to vulnerable populations, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government to the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 -- That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to submit an allocation plan to HUD and to provide any additional information requested by HUD in connection with that allocation plan.

                     Section 3 -- That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established herein.

                     Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage. PASSED URBAN COUNTY COUNCIL:
