BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Kentucky Department of Education/Division of School and Community Nutrition, and to provide any addition information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to accept this Grant if the application is approved, which Grant funds are in the amount of $79,000 in Federal funds, for the provision of breakfast, lunch, and supplements at free and reduced rates to infants and toddlers attending the Family Care Center’s child care and pre-school programs, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget previously established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
