BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor and the Department of Finance, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby are authorized and directed to set aside and allocate up to $15 million in funding in order to provide American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) pay for essential Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government employees as defined in the guidelines set forth in the act.
Section 2 - The distribution and payment of any such funds to the affected employees shall be subject to further action of the Urban County Council or the administration of the Urban County Government, as appropriate
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
