BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Division of Environmental Services, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to administer a composting pilot program, providing composting workshops and partially funding home composters for workshop participants in order to promote waste reduction and sustainability, at a cost not to exceed $9,000.00.

                     Section 2 -That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
