Summary
Authorization to accept the new 5 year Master Services and Purchasing Agreement and Quote with Axon Enterprise, Inc., at a cost of $1,027,786.45 and also reestablish Axon as a Sole Source Vendor. This Agreement bundles our Body Worn Cameras, Tasers, accessories, storage fees, software licensing, training and maintenance. Since there are no other vendors that provide all of the above mentioned products and services, we are reestablishing Axon Enterprise, Inc. as a sole source vendor.
The required funds for FY22 are Budgeted and available. Additional funds would be required and will be requested in the subsequent fiscal years. (L0784-21) (Weathers/Armstrong)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Police is authorized to purchase Body Worn Cameras, Tasers, accessories, storage fees, software licensing, training and maintenance from Axon Enterprise, Inc., a sole source provider, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute any necessary Agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc., related to the procurement.
Section 2 - That an amount, estimated not to exceed the sum of $1,027,786.45 be and hereby is approved for payment to Axon Enterprise, Inc., from the following accounts in the following amounts: #1101-505502-76102 ($850,000.00), #1101-505702-75801 ($140,000.00) and #1101-505507-75101 ($37,786.45).
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
