WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 270-2020, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government executed Purchase of Services Agreements with five entities for workforce development services under the Workforce Development Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, if an entity met its required goals after the first year and funds were Budgeted, the entity's Purchase of Services Agreement would automatically renew, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement. Otherwise, a Contract amendment would be necessary to continue to the next term; and
WHEREAS, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, three entities - Building Institute of Central Kentucky; the Community Action Council of Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties, Inc.; and Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. - were unable to meet their goals by the end of the fiscal year;...
