A Resolution accepting the bid of Northern Ky. Legal Aid Society, Inc., AKA Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (“Legal Aid”) to RFP No. 18-2021 to provide professional services in support of the Eviction Court Intervention and Outreach Program at a cost not to exceed $365,000, and authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute a Subrecipient Agreement with Legal Aid as well as any other needed Agreements or Amendments with legal aid related to the use of these funds. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the bid of Northern Kentucky Legal Aid Society, Inc., AKA Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (“Legal Aid”), in response to RFP No. 18-2021, be and hereby is accepted and approved as to the specifications and amounts set forth in the terms of the bid and any Agreements hereby established, at a cost not to exceed $365,000.00, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Legal Aid, as well as any other needed Agreements or amendments with Legal Aid related to these funds.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $365,000.00, be and hereby is authorized for payment to Northern Kentucky Legal Aid Society Inc., aka Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, from account # 3230-160201-001-71101, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 -- That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
