A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to accept a Grant from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, which Grant funds are in the amount of $1,441,081 in Federal funds, for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA) Program, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds, authorizing the Mayor to transfer unencumbered funds within the Grant Budget, and authorizing and directing the Mayor to execute a Subrecipient Agreement with AVOL Ky., Inc., for continuation of the Project, at a cost not to exceed $1,397,849. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which Grant funds are in the amount of $1,441,081.00 in Federal funds, for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Resolution No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established herein.
Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with AVOL Kentucky, Inc., for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Project.
