Summary
Authorization to approve Otis Elevator Contract Renewal for maintenance on the elevator at the Fayette County Detention Center for the Division of Community Corrections. The Division is requesting to extend the Contract for 7 years, the vendor is extending a 6% discount of the maintenance for the extension. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreement renewal, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Otis Elevator Company, a sole-source provider, to perform maintenance services for the Division of Community Corrections.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $2,210.04 (FY2022), be and hereby is approved for payment to Otis Elevator Company, from account #1101-505401-5412-76101, pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
