BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to approve and adopt Substantial Amendments to the 2019 Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and to accept additional Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which Grant funds are in the amount of $1,343,569.00 in Federal funds provided under the CARES Act, for the Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties ($620,211.00), Refuge Ministries, Inc. ($60,000.00), the Explorium ($56,372.00), New Vista of the Bluegrass ($166,135.00), FoodChain ($53,195.00), NAMI Lexington ($180,000.00), and administrative fees for the LFUCG Division of Grants and Special Programs ($207,656.00), the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 -That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget established herein.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
