BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Kathy H. Witt, Sheriff of Fayette County, for the collection of the ad valorem Urban Service District taxes for the 2020 property tax year, with the payments to be treated as a commission and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to receive any related payment from the Commonwealth of Kentucky ($87,500.00).
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $350,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Kathy H. Witt, Sheriff of Fayette County from account # 1115-011001-40960 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, and the payment of any related funds from the Commonwealth of Kentucky to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government is accepted.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
