Summary
Authorization to accept (two) 2 REMOTEC Robots from the Kentucky State Police (KSP). The robots have been taken out of service by the KSP. KSP plans to surplus 2 REMOTEC Robots, and we are requesting to take ownership of the robots to support our existing robots, specifically for support of ERU. The robots will only be utilized by law enforcement personnel of the Lexington Police Department. No Budgetary impact. (L1071-20) (Weathers/Armstrong)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a donation from Kentucky State Police of two (2) REMOTEC robots, for use at the Division of Police, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
