AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-1(a) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF MEETINGS FOR THE COUNCIL FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2021.

WHEREAS, KRS 61.820 provides that all public agencies of the state shall provide for a schedule of regular meetings by Ordinance, order, Resolution, bylaws, or whatever other means May be required for the conduct of business of that public agency, and that the schedule of regular meetings shall be made available to the public; and
WHEREAS, Section 2-1(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government provides for adopting a schedule of dates and times of meetings to be adopted annually by Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the schedule of meetings for the Council of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the calendar year 2021 be and hereby is adopted as follows:

Section 2 - That the date and time prescribed for meetings of the Council by this Ordinance shall not be changed except in accordance with KRS 61.805 et seq. and Section 4.07 of the Charter of the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government.
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
