The Division of Engineering needs this action because during the course of the design, the Contractor was asked to perform work beyond the original scope of services, which included additional meetings, modifications to the storm sewer system and revised drawings due to drainage issues. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2-Final, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Palmer Engineering, Inc., for the Southland Drive Sidewalk Project, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $4,300.00 from $217,200.00 to $221,500.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $4,300.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Palmer Engineering, Inc. from account 1136-303202-3251-91715, pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
