University of Kentucky has sought LFUCG as a preferred internship site with Therapeutic Recreation programs for Music Therapy students. Students are required to complete hours for internships (fall, spring and summer options). This Agreement will supply needed interns to assist with growing programs for individuals with disabilities while teaching the student necessary skills for job placement in Music Therapy field. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the University of Kentucky, designating LFUCG as a preferred internship site with Therapeutic Recreation programs for Music Therapy students.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
