                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept the Grant from William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable trust, which Grant funds are in the amount of $300,000.00, and are for the FEND (Full Energy, No Drugs) Lexington-Fayette Project, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in his discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget previously established for this Grant.                     

                     Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Three-year Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Preventum Initiative, Inc., for the development and implementation of a mobile device application that targets and educates Lexington youth and young adults about the severity of the opioid addiction crisis.

                     Section 4 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $300,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Preventum Initiative, Inc. from account #3300-133001-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.

                     Section 5 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
