BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, which Grant funds are in the amount of $469,884.00 Federal funds, under the First Responders - Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act Program, are for the creation of a project to help reduce Opioid Overdose Fatalities, and the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in his discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget previously established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
