Summary

Authorization to execute Change Order #2 with Pace Contracting in the amount of $2,050.23  for Construction Services for the Castlewood and Douglass Park spray grounds, Contract #133-2017.  Included are deductions and additions to the original project scope and design needed to complete the construction of the spray grounds and insure proper operation.  This Change Order makes the new Contract amount $936,021.45 and extends the Contract date/duration an additional nine (9) days. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Contract with Pace Contracting, LLC, for the Castlewood and Douglass Park Sprayground Projects, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $2,050.23 from $933,971.22 to $936,021.45.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed $2,050.23, be and hereby is approved for payment to with Pace Contracting, LLC, from account #2607-707601-7211-90319 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
