BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which Grant funds are in the amount of $1,391,000.00 Federal funds, are for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Resolution No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in his discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established herein.
Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with AIDS Volunteers, Inc., for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Project.
Section 4 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $1,391,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to AIDS Volunteers, Inc., from account #3120-900212-71101, pursuant to the terms of the Subrecipient Agreement.
Section 5 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
