Authorization to approve six (6) easements requested by Kentucky American Water Company on land comprising Pleasant Ridge Park and the Brighton Rail Trail and execution of the necessary documents required by KAWC and LFUCG. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute six (6) Easement Agreements, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and any other necessary documents, for the transfer of utility easements to the Kentucky American Water Company (KAWC), to permit improvements to the Pleasant Ridge Transmission Main relating to the Pleasant Ridge Park and Brighton Rail Trail Projects.
Section 2 - That the sum of $11,851.00 be and hereby is approved for payment to the Urban County Government pursuant to the terms of the Agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
