Authorization to amend/renew Lexington Fayette Urban County’s Contract with Thomson West “West” for on-line legal research and CLEAR on-line investigation information. The cost for this Fiscal Year is no impact. The cost for Fiscal Year 18 is $32,743.92. This is a three year Contract with an increase of 2% at the beginning of each Contract year. Funds are Budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Thomson Reuters for Westlaw on-line legal research and publications and Westlaw CLEAR information search services, for the Department of Law.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $32,743.92 be and hereby is approved for payment to Thomson Reuters, from account #1101-194101-77802, pursuant to the terms of the Agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
