Summary

Authorization to request approval of an Agreement submitted by Lynn Imaging for the lease of a wide-format scanner, plotter, printer and copier for the Division of Water Quality. The lease is for replacement of equipment at the end of its useful lifetime. We have determined lease of this equipment is the most cost-efficient way to digitize plan, maps and other documents as part of the asset management plan required by the Consent Decree. The Lease is for three years at an annual cost of $2,399.40 plus $0.25 per square foot of print volume. Funds are Budgeted. (L0608-17) (Martin/Hoskins-Squier)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Lease Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Lynn Imaging for a wide-format all-in-one scanner, plotter, printer, and copier for the Division of Water Quality, for a period of up to three (3) years.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, estimated not to exceed the sum of $2,399.40 plus $0.25 per square foot of print volume per year, subject to sufficient funds being appropriated in future fiscal years, be and hereby is approved for payment to Lynn Imaging from account # 4002 - 303401 - 71303, pursuant to the terms of the Lease Agreement.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
