BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Amendment to the Maintenance and Traffic Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), to delegate responsibility for the operation and maintenance of traffic signals and electrical traffic control devices on Rd.ways included in the State Primary Road System and located in Lexington-Fayette County to the Urban County Government; and extending the Agreement from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $330,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to KYTC from account #1141-303602-44040, to be reimbursed by KYTC pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
