BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement with Kentucky Utilities (KU) and the Lexington & Fayette County Parking Authority (LFCPA), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to permit the placement of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on certain portions of the public rights-of-way and at parking facilities and metered parking spaces in Lexington-Fayette County, at no cost to the Urban County Government, and authorizing the Mayor, or his designee, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute any necessary Site Agreements for the placement of electric vehicle charging stations in suitable locations.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
