Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) classified position of Administrative Specialist (Grade 513N), and create one (1) classified position of Administrative Specialist Principal (Grade 518N); reclassifying the incumbent; in the Division of Human Resources. Also requesting authorization to abolish one (1) unclassified position of Administrative Specialist (Grade 513N), and create one (1) unclassified position of Administrative Specialist Sr. (Grade 516N); reclassifying the incumbent in the Office of the CAO. Additionally, requesting authorization to change the classification name from Risk Manager to Manager of Safety and Loss Control in the Division of Risk Management effective the beginning of next pay period following passage of Council. Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the Unclassified Civil Service authorized strength by and hereby is created to read as follows:

Section 3 - That the incumbent, Shannon Settles, be and hereby is reclassified from Administrative Specialist, Grade 513N, at $22.604 hourly to Administrative Specialist Sr., Grade 516N, at $25.316 hourly.
Section 4 - That subsection line number 460.055 in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 5 - That the following subsection line number in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength by and hereby is created to read as follows:

Section 6 - That the incumbent, Alisha Lyle, be and hereby is reclassified from Administrative Specialist, Grade 513N, at $18.242 hourly to Administrative Specialist Principal, Grade 518N, at $21.333 hourly.
Section 7 - That subsection line number 470.020 in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 8 - That the following subsection line number in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength by and hereby is created to read as follows:

Section 9 - That the job title of the incumbent, Michael Skidmore, be and hereby is changed from Risk Manager to Manager of Safety and Control, at the same grade and rate of pay.
Section 10 - That this Ordinance shall become effective the beginning of the next pay period following passage of Council.
