Summary

Authorization to approve Change Order #2 to the LFUCG Contract with Van Hook Enterprises, Inc. for construction services associated with the West Hickman Waste Water Treatment Plant Administrative Building Expansion/Improvements Project.  The Change Order results in an increase of $5,371.94 with a new project amount of $470,901.98, a 6.3% increase of the original project amount.  The project completion date will be extended 23 calendar days with a new completion date of 2/14/2017.  Funds are Budgeted.(L1019-16) (Martin/Hoskins-Squier)

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Vanhook Enterprises, Inc., for the West Hickman Waste Water Treatment Plant Administration Building Expansion/Improvements Project, increasing the contract price by the sum of $5,371.94 from $465,530.04 to $470,901.98 and extending the date of completion by twenty-three (23) calendar days, to February 14, 2017.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $5,371.94, be and hereby is approved for payment to Vanhook Enterprises, Inc., from account # 4003 - 303401 - 92711 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
