                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit six (6) Grant Applications, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and to provide any additional information requested in connection with these Grant Applications, which Grant funds are in the amount of $3,391,840 Federal funds under the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), and are for the Armstrong Mill Sidewalks Project ($1,062,400), the Mt. Tabor Road Widening Project ($1,096,000), the South Forbes Road at West Main Street Project ($184,800), the Legacy Trail Connection - Coldstream Station Project ($321,600), the Wilson Downing Sidewalk Connections Project ($663,680), and the Oxford Circle Sidewalk Connections Project ($63,360).                     

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
