BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Amended Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet and the Kentucky Communications Network Authority, to permit the purchase and installation of additional dark fiber-optic cable for the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $270,000.00, be and hereby is
approved for payment to the Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet and the Kentucky Communications Network Authority, from account #1101-210101-96207 ($210,000.00), #1101-210101-76101 ($10,000.00), and #2603-303602-91611 ($50,000.00) pursuant to the terms of the Amended Agreement, with annual maintenance costs and connectivity charges subject to sufficient appropriation of funds in future fiscal years.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
