BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That in order to ensure the timely completion of the construction of Fire Station No. 2, the Mayor or his designee, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute any necessary Change Orders to the contract with Olympic Construction, LLC, for the construction of Fire Station No. 2, as long as such Change Orders meet the criteria provided in this Resolution.
Section 2 - (a) All Change Orders will be reviewed and recommended by the consulting architect, Brandstetter Carroll, Inc. (or their sub-consultants), and by the Urban County Government's Project Manager, Division of Purchasing, and Commissioner of General Services to assure need, appropriateness and accuracy.
(b) The reviews and recommendations will be conducted prior to submittal of such Change Orders to the Mayor or his designee for signature.
