Title
A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute an End User License Agreement and Support Agreement with Collective Data, for a quartermaster system, at a cost not to exceed $18,500. [Div. of Police, Barnard]
Summary
Authorization to accept an End User License Agreement and Support Agreement with Collective Data. Collective Data is an asset inventory management software, or what we refer to as a quartermaster system. Collective Data will allow the Police Department to track everything from vehicle emergency equipment to Police uniform equipment and accessories. Collective Data provides a more detailed item inventory and allows for complete tracking of an asset during its lifetime, whereas currently, we track what is issued to an individual person. Collective Data is the first step toward a true quartermaster system and our preference is to have the software in place and tracking assets before we move all assets to one location for checking in and checking out, to potentially include uniforms, which could in turn lead to a reduction or even elimination of uniform allowances. The cost is $18,500.00 this FY. The cost for future FY is $4,375.00 for annual maintenance. Cost is fully Budgeted. (L128-16) (Barnard/Bastin)
