Summary
Authorization to sign an Agreement with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Explosives (ATF) for use of the 800 MHz public safety radio communication system. Granting the ATF access to Lexington’s radio system and Lexington Police channels enhances communication between agencies, thus improving officer safety during joint response. ATF will not pay to have Lexington’s frequencies programmed on its radios and Lexington does not incur cost associated with this Agreement. No Budgetary implications. (L126-16) (Stack/Bastin)
