Summary
Authorization to request a resolution authorizing the Mayor on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to acquire a new sanitary sewer easement from the University of Kentucky. This easement is necessary for the installation and long-term maintenance of approximately 1,700 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe. Funds are budgeted. The cost for fiscal year 2016 is $1.00. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute a Certificate of Consideration and to accept a Deed conveying permanent sanitary sewer and temporary construction easements from the University of Kentucky, for the property located at 1100 Nicholasville Road, for the Marquis and Park Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
